A funeral service for Angelien “Nanny” Traylor, age 88, of Crockett is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack White officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Traylor passed away March 5, 2019 in Houston, TX. She was born March 26, 1930 in Rusk to the late Hosea and Dollie Pryor Jones. Angelien married her husband of 64 years, Cecil “Buck” Traylor and they spent their lives until retirement in Houston.

She loved to travel with her husband and was an passionate crocheter. She also enjoyed decorating cakes, ceramics and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy though was being with her great grandchildren, Blake and Christiana Cole.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Cecil Ray “Buck” Traylor. She is survived by a daughter, Cecile Traylor of Houston, grandson, Bradley Cole and wife Christina of Houston, great grandchildren, Blake and Christiana Cole of Houston, sister, Lawanda Hinton and husband M.D. of Mountain Home, Idaho, brother, Herman Jones and wife Fran of Houston, treasured nephew, Michael Traylor and wife Sarah and their family of Jacksonville, TX and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will include Bradley Cole, Blake Cole, Mike Traylor, Jonathan Traylor, Herman Jones and Ken Wade.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the funeral home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Angelien Traylor please visit our Sympathy Store.
