Angelo J. Nizzico of Annadale passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Clove Lakes Health Care Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Yonkers New York to the late Louis and Clementina Nizzico, he moved to Brooklyn when he married his wife Angelina , and they relocated to Staten Island in the early 70’s. Angelo worked for the United States Postal Service retiring in the mid 1990’s.

Angelo relished time with his family,, be it Sunday dinner or spending quality time with his grandchildren, which he enjoyed immensely. He was the type of father and grandfather who led by the example of the life he led. His wife Angelina passed away on May 7, 1985, He is survived by his loving daughters, Maryann Nizzico and Donna Paramithis.

He was the fond father in law of John and Gregory. Dearest brother to Edward and cherished grandfather to his 2 grandchildren Matthew and Alexander. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Contributions in Angelo’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association; www.
