Anita Draeger 89, of Webster City, died on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, July 11, from 5 – 8 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www. bomanfh.com).

Anita was born on March 14, 1929, to Alfred and Agnes (Christiansen) Jensen. She was raised in Humboldt and employed as a telephone operator for North Western Bell Telephone Company from 1944 – 1951, several of those years in Denver Colorado. Anita enjoyed Ballroom dancing, sewing, crafts bird watching, working with her husband, and babysitting her grandchildren. Anita’s family includes her three children: Debbie (Lynn) Jaycox of Webster City, Douglas of Fort Dodge & Mark (Pam) of Webster City; three grandchildren Scott (Juli) Jaycox of Webster City, Sara (Tyler) Abens of Webster City & Alex (Sierra) Draeger of Humboldt; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson Mark; five sisters and three brothers.
