Obituary for Anita Gail Lane Anita Gail Lane, 67, of Dewitt, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Lane was born May 4, 1951, in Pine Bluff, to the late Allen Wilmar Cook, Sr. and Esther Lee Mack Sherman. She was reared and received her education in White Hall.

She also had resided in Cornerstone, Dewitt, and Des Arc. Mrs. Lane was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dwight Lane, whom she married December 12, 1969, in Pine Bluff; son, Dwight (Gayelynn) Lane of Dewitt; grandchildren, Christian and Devan Morris, Ashley Lane, Augustine and R. C. Lane, Logan Lane, and Scott; one great-grandchild, Jordan Flores; four brothers, Allen “Pete” Cook, Jr. of Branson, Missouri and Russell Cook of Pine Bluff, Carol Dean Sherman and Doug Sherman, both of Des Arc; one sister, Reba Ann Cook of Fredrickson, Maryland; and close family friends, Mama Kay and Daddy Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Timothy Scott Lane. Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2018, 2:00-4:00 PM, at Robinson’s. Graveside services will be Monday, November 12, 2018, 2:00 PM, at Bayou Meto Cemetery.
