Anita L. Mahoney, 84, of Duxbury and Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Belmont, died peacefully at home October 18, 2018. Loving wife of the late William T. Mahoney. Loving mother of Donna Orth and her husband Stephen of Hyannis, Karen Puopolo and her husband Steven of Groveland, Paula Mahoney of Duxbury, William Mahoney, Jr., and his wife Margaret of Duxbury, Theresa Emigh of Boca Raton, Florida, Kevin Mahoney and his wife Tonya of Billerica, Richard Mahoney and his wife Ime of Worcester, and Eileen Jacobson and her husband Kenneth of Duxbury.

She adored and was loved by her many many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Alice L. Carey, and sister of the late David M. Carey, Sister-in-law of Patricia Carey of Rockland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., Duxbury, Wednesday at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7pm in Holy Family Church.

Interment Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Anita’s memory to Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle Plymouth, MA. 02360.
