Ann Corda May 09, 1928 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Helen Petrick Kopchick Parnahay, and was a graduate of Harding High School Class of 1946. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Corda. Together they loved to travel and made many trips to Europe, Canada and throughout the United States.

She enjoyed visiting her aunts, uncles and many cousins in Kyjov, Slovakia. Ann was secretary at the Stratford Board of Education and retired in 1994 after 25 years in the Pupil Services Office. She loved her dog, gardening, ballet and concerts.

Survivors include her three children, Marilyn Corda of Shelton, Ronald Corda and his wife Jean of Huntington and Robert Corda of Stratford, four grandchildren, Kevin, Jennifer, Alexis and Abrielle Corda, several nieces, nephews and a dear cousin, Stephen Dzurenko and his wife Diane of Flemington, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her two half-brothers, Dr. Joseph Kopchick and Peter Kopchick. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service.

Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Panchida will be at 4:30 pm.
