Ann C. Seyller, 63, of Moline, formerly of Hooppole, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Amber Ridge Memory Care Facility, in Moline, surrounded by her family. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Elim Covenant Church, Moline. Reverend Steve Peterson will officiate.

Burial will be in Hooppole Cemetery, Hooppole, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, 2019, from 2 – 4 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Elim Covenant Church or Calvary Evangelical Congregational Church, Hooppole.

Ann was born November 4, 1955, the daughter of Richard and Patricia (Mullen) Seyller, in Moline, IL. She graduated from Annawan High School in 1973 and attended Mid State Business College, Peoria. She worked as an administrative assistant and secretary at John Hancock Insurance.

She then worked at Royal Neighbors of America as an administrative assistant for several years, until her retirement. During her employment at Royal Neighbors, she won Employee of the Year and was awarded a trip to the Bahamas. Ann grew up in the Calvary Evangelical Church in Hooppole, then became an active member at Elim Covenant Church in Moline.

She enjoyed singing in the choir and was the director for many years. She was the President of Covenant Women’s Ministry and taught Sunday School at the church. She enjoyed reading and singing, she was part of the Sweet Adeline’s Singing Group in Peoria.

She loved going with Girl’s Night Out Group and especially loved her nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Peggy (Alan) Larson, Plano, TX; brothers, Jack (Jean) Seyller, Moline and David (Brenda) Seyller, East Moline; nieces, Tracy (Aaron) Klugger, Jessica Seyller, Rebecca (Jason) Bean; nephews, David Larson, Christian Seyller, Trevor Seyller; great-nieces, Willemina and Joslyn Klugger; great-nephews, Daniel and Michael Bean. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to their cousin, Sheila Yoeckel, for the many years of help and support she provided to Ann.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Patricia.
