Obituary for Anna Hitt Anna Hitt, 94 years old, of La Mesa, California, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California. She was born June 27, 1924 in Astoria, New York, the daughter of Stefan and Zoe Fatseas. She married Lawrence Clifford Hitt of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Hitt was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a devoted wife. She was the true matriarch of the family. Anna was preceded in death by husband Clifford in 1986.

She is survived by Stefanie (Walter) Zable, Fabienne (Terry) Hanks, Travis (Rene’) Hitt, Joris Hitt and John (Linda) Hitt, all of San Diego, California. Additional survivors include (9) grandchildren and (9) great grandchildren. Graveside service for Anna will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Father Victor Anokwute officiating.
