Obituary for Anna Marie James Anna Marie (Nichols) James Anna Marie James went to join her Lord on December 5, 2018. She passed away Quietly with her family present. Anna leaves behind a long legacy of a spirit of service, wisdom, curiosity, and laughter.

She had a distinguished career as a registered nurse whose experience ranged from the team nurse of the Oklahoma State football team, NICU, ER, surgery and more. She chose Park View Hospital as her final career stop, serving the El Reno and surrounding communities as a home health nurse until her retirement. Anna loved nursing, gardening, reading, and her family.

Infinitely curious and seeker of knowledge, she was a voracious reader and never went anywhere without a couple of paperbacks stuffed into her purse. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In the spirit of service to others, she requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Lord’s Harvest in El Reno or the El Reno Carnegie Library.
