Anna Stokes passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in Niceville, FL. Our beloved “Baba” was an angel from above and loved her family more than anything else. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she spent her life tirelessly caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.

Anna spent most of her life living in Philadelphia working as a dispatcher for the Water Department before moving to Florida in 2016. Anna loved going to see plays, watching TV and movies with her best friend and husband George and she recently found a new hobby in golf. Anna is survived by her husband George, her sons Christopher, Nicholas and Jacob; daughter in-laws Kelly, Karen and Sherrianne; grandchildren Dakota, Casey, JJ, Zach, Jea and Avery; brother Dmytro; sister in-laws Kathleen and Carrie; nieces Jennifer, Maria, and Kathleen.

Anna was preceded in death by her brother Myron, father Dmytro and mother Maria. A time of visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30pm on Saturday, May 11th at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, Niceville, FL. A Memorial Mass will be held from 2:30-3:00pm and a luncheon will follow the services.
