Anne Farina 95, of West Harrison and formerly of Yonkers and Hastings, N.Y. died on Sept. 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 20, 1923 to the late Gaetano and Antoinette (nee Petrucco) DiDomizio in Yonkers, N.Y. Anne was predeceased by her devoted husband, Fred Farina in 2009 and also predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her three loving daughters, Judith (Mario) Palmiotto of Annandale, VA. , Linda Putorti of White Plains, N.Y. and Janet (Michael) Caligiuri of Thornwood, N.Y. one brother, Alfred DiDomizio of Jackonville, FL and three sisters, Irene DiGenno of Toms River, NJ, Doris Kulsha of Hastings, N.Y. and Jeanette (William) Billie of Shallotte, NC. Also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Kevin (Andrea), Thomas, Brian, Scott (Nicole), Michael and two great grandchildren, Jake and Chloe.

Anne was a graceful, stylish and gentle lady, who had a great deal of courage and a heart of gold. She was a selfless woman who put everyone ahead of herself. She had a long and beautiful life of love and support from her cherished family.

There were no limits to the love she had for her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of Anne’s greatest challenges was her battle with Alzheimer’s. She had the will to face it head on and battled it each and every day for many years.

She showed tremendous courage and grace through all of it and even managed to keep her sense of humor through difficult times. She received loving care from her family, and from her exceptional caregivers; Kamini, Lisa, Sasha, Grace and Rosetta. She will always be a beautiful, sweet angel forever in our hearts.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Thursday, 10 AM. Entombment, Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
