Anne Louise Pehrkon, of Beecher, passed into eternity on January 26, 2019 at Vitas hospice, Country Club Hills, IL. She is survived by her sister Joan (Larry) Wiegggel and her nephew, Paul Wieggel. Also surviving are her aunt, Florence Hoenk (nee Pehrkon) and her uncle Norman Duensing.

Cousins surviving are Mary (Barry) Massey, B.J. (John) Klotz, Hailey Klotz, and R.J. Klotz. Also cousins Dawn Duensing (Mark Waterson), Debbie (Dave) Mason, and Doug (Becky) Duensing, Julia Duensing and Faith Duensing. Anne was preceded in death by her parents Augie and Dorothy Pehrkon (nee Duensing), grandparents Elmer and Anna Duensing (nee Diersen) and grandparents Fritz and Louise Pehrkon (nee Shultz).

Anne was born at St, James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL on October 16th, 1946. Anne grew up in Crete, IL and was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was the head librarian at Crete Public Library for many years and most recently managed J.B Greenhouse.

Anne loved history, reading, gardening, and most of all, her nephew Paul. Private services and internment have been arranged with Rev. Frank Italiano officiating.

Memorials may be directed to the family or Trinity Lutheran Church.
