Annetta Teske, of West Bend, went to walk with her Lord in the morning hours of Monday, November 12, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was 78 years old. Annetta was born on June 24, 1940 in Allen Park, MI, daughter of Harold Larsen and Arlene LaCombe Larsen.
After graduating high school, she attended Walsh College, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. They lived in Cedarburg before moving to West Bend in 2005. Mrs. Teske worked in the field of Healthcare Accounting for Blue Cross and hospitals in Louisiana and Wisconsin. Annetta was a long-time member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and was very active in their Ladies Aid and Care Ministry.
She enjoyed going to lunch with her friends every Wednesday; it was the highlight of her week for over twenty years. Mrs. Teske also liked sewing, knitting and crocheting. As an active grandmother, she attended many of her grandchildren’s events and was even involved in Cub Scouts, Cedarburg Pack 3803.
When she was at home, Annetta loved making their garden into a bird sanctuary, planting flowers to attract hummingbirds, orioles and butterflies. Annetta is survived by her husband Donald of West Bend, three children: Paul (Laurina) Teske of Edmond, OK, Suzanne (James) Stadelmayer of West Bend and Mark (Michele) Teske of Olive Branch, MS. She is further survived by nine grandchildren: Carl Delcuze, Stephen (Emily) Delcuze, Monica Teske, Meagan (Michael) Clarke, Marcus Teske, Marissa Teske, Matthew Teske, Lisa Teske, and Linda Teske, great-grandson Adam Clarke, sister Sylvia Larsen Roldan of Puerto Rico, brother-in-law Henry Collyer of Albuquerque, NM, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bill Larsen and her sister Lois Collyer. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10 AM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67N622 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg. Pastor Wilmer Reichmann will preside over the service.
She will be laid to rest in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 16th from 4-6PM at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave. , Cedarburg, and again on Saturday the 17th at First Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9 AM until the time of services.
