Annie’s Obituary Graveside services for Annie Wesberry, age 63 of Bonham, TX will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mr. Bill Terry. Ann passed away on May 21, 2019.

She was born April 19, 1956 in San Antonio, TX to William Ziegenbusch & Rennie L. Haskins Ziegenbusch. Annie was a caregiver, working 20 years at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation and for 9 years at Hofmann-Mraz Care Home, both in Bonham. Later she worked in Home Healthcare until she became ill.

She met Johnny Terry on June 2, 1980 in Savoy, TX. She was quoted to say, “Meeting Johnny was the best thing that ever happened in her life”. Johnny’s siblings all considered her their own sister.

She passed away while living with her devoted and beloved sister Billie Walker. Billie and her daughter Samantha took care of her during her lengthy hospital stay. Billie, Samantha, her brother David and her sister-in-law, Elise, continued to stay by her side until her death.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, William Ziegenbusch & Rennie L. Haskins Ziegenbusch; nephew, Christopher Roberson and niece, ReNell Ziegenbusch. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Johnny Terry; two sisters, Billie Walker of Denison and Janine Roberson of Denison; two brothers, David Ziegenbusch and wife Elise of Salt Lake City, UT and Steven Ziegenbusch and wife Edith of San Diego, CA. ; nieces and nephews, Joey Walker, Samantha Walker, Sonnie Roberson, Justin Ziegenbusch, Jeremy Ziegenbusch and Daniel Ziegenbusch; Johnny’s family, Don & Pat Walley, Bill and Carol Terry, Melanie and Stan Woodruff, Timothy and Sharon Terry and Kim Kala Kirby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Christian Church, 701 N Main St, Bonham, TX 75418.
