Obituary of Annie Grissett Annie Sue (Ryals) Grissett, 72, lost the courageous battle with cancer on Monday February 25, 2019. Born on July 22, 1946 in Andalusia, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Annie Mae (Johns) Ryals. Sue came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child and attended local schools.

She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. For fifteen years, she was employed as a Dietician at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Sue enjoyed traveling with her husband and spent time with him in their mobile home in Florida during the winter months.

Most of all she enjoyed entertaining her family on holidays and special occasions. Sue is survived by her beloved of 54 years, Rex H. Grissett; sister, Wyvonne (Byron) Grissett; brother, Richard Ryals; sister in-laws, Eleanor Grissett and Ellen Grissett. Sue is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, James Ryals and one sister, Barbara Oden. Sue loved her family and was always there for them. She will be missed by all, she was such a giving and caring person.

Friends may call Sunday, March 3rd from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC. , 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Kofahl officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
