ANTHONY EMMANUEL VANN April 02, 1963 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Anthony Emmanuel Vann (Tony) was born to Mr. Cleveland Ray Vann and Mrs. Gloria Jean Vann on April 2, 1963. Tony attended Jack Yates High School where he was active in sports. While in high school he had a daughter named Marlena.
Later, he united with Alice Vann, to this union a son was born, Ameer Anthony Vann. Tony had a special love and relationship with God and he acknowledged his belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board.
Tony had many skills and worked as a truck driver for many years. One of his passions was working on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a loyal and active member of the Magic Wheels Motorcycle Club where he showed care and conscientiousness while performing duties required by the organization.
He loved traveling to motorcycle rallies with his brothers in Magic Wheels. Tony enjoyed his fellowship with his brothers of Magic Wheels until his demise. All of his friends called him “Biggie”.
On January 21, 2019, Tony caught his chariot to go meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Preceding him in death is his father Cleveland Ray Vann, daughter Marlena, brother Michael Leo Taylor, and best friend Jimmie Lee Braggs. He leaves many family and friends who truly loved him including sisters Annette Mills, Elizabeth McCall, Denise Vann.
Aunts, Joyce Cambric (Leroy), Aralayce Hall (Alex), beloved friend girl Sharifa Mitchell, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
