Antoñia G. Anchondo “Toña” was born August 6, 1950, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Her parents were Miguel and Graciela Anchondo. She was the oldest girl of nine children.

Toña married Ronald E. Sanders and had two children, Gracie and Josué. She is survived by her daughter Gracie (Earl), siblings Salvador, Maria (Gary), Miguel (Juanita), Velia (Juan), Alfredo (Ana), grandson Alonzo (Ingrid), granddaughters Cheyenne, Bailey, Jade, great-granddaughter Zoë, Tia Licha, Tio Chito, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Josué, and siblings Ramon, Manuel, and Chon.

Gracie is grateful that her mom was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the 1970’s because she raised her to come to know and love the only true God Jehovah. Toña was known for her feisty, loving, caring, and generous personality. As her siblings put it, “Toña was not just a sister to us, she was like a loving mother to us”, “The most loving and caring, always acting as a second mom, always worried for the well-being of others instead of her own”, “You will be missed, but only for a short time…and will always be remembered with love!

”, “Forever in our hearts”. We will miss Toña very much, but look forward to the near future when Jehovah God fulfills his promise to resurrect our dead loved ones to live forever on a cleansed paradise earth.
