Antonio’s Obituary Antonio “Chato” Gonzales Jr., 54, of Patterson, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2019 at Doctors Hospital in Modesto. Tony was born in Slaton, TX. at the age 2, his parents moved to Patterson, where he lived his life.

He attended Patterson schools and was a graduate of PHS Class of 1982. In his younger years, he was well known for his red and white ‘55 Chevy, which he proudly restored with the help of his father Tony Sr He loved spending time with friends and family, but really enjoyed his time traveling with his brother Luis to local casinos.

He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He is survived by his mother, Esperanza “Hopie” Gonzales, brothers; Luis Gonzales of Patterson and John (Delia) Gonzales of Lubbock Texas, sisters; Debbie (Augie) De La Rosa, Rosemary (Albert) Marroquin, both of Patterson, many cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces & great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Gonzales Sr

He will be missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 8th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. Inurnment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery.
