Mr. Anwar Mitry Boutros, 76, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at home. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie with the Rev. Bryan Bradshaw officiating.

Interment will be in the River Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. before the service at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Mr. Boutros was born March 5, 1943 in Luxor Egypt to the late Mitry and Ogenie Bakhoum Boutros.

He was the Vice President and Chief Auditor of Arab-African International Bank in New York City and a Veteran of the Egyptian Army. He loved the Lord and hosted Bible Studies in his home. His family was everything to him and his smile, joy, humor and energetic personality was infectious.

He was beloved by all who knew him and deeply enriched the lives of all he encountered. Survivors are his wife Cynthia Mihalek Boutros; sons Freddy Boutros and Michael Boutros; step-children Renee Vollbrecht, Philip Lebanno, Mike Lebanno, Juliette Lyon, & Denise Stell, ten grandchildren and loving sisters, Wedad Boutros and Layla Boutros.
