OBITUARY April Ann Hepner August 14, 1964 – September 22, 2018 April Ann Hepner, died unexpectedly at the age of 54, on Saturday, September 22, 2018 surrounded by her family at North Cypress Medical Hospital in Cypress, Texas following a brief illness. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 14, 1964 to Shirley Dewberry and the late Lucius Dewberry, April was able to live in many cities throughout the United States due to her father’s military career eventually settling in Pearl, MS. April graduated from Pearl High School in 1981.

She began a 38-year career working for Digital Equipment Corp, which was purchased by COMPAQ, then by Hewlett Packard, and ultimately Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Throughout her career she connected with many associates both on a professional and personal level, creating long lasting relationships with everyone that she met. April was an amazing, strong, passionate, and kind woman.

She fiercely loved and cared for her family and everyone that surrounded her in life. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and making the best out of each day. April found great passion in music and used it as inspiration throughout life, inspiring countless others to explore new things across many fields.

Her vibrant personality and sense of humor were like no other. Her love for her family, friends and animals was truly unwavering. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul Hepner of Cypress, TX. Her children, Zachary Hepner and Annie Rae Hepner both of Cypress, TX. Her step daughter Jessica (Dan) Stevenson and granddaughters Eleanor and Audra Stevenson of Marquette, MI.

Her mother Shirley Dewberry, brothers Craig Dewberry and Scott (Lori) Dewberry, all of Pearl, MS. She was preceded in death by her father. A visitation was held in Texas Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Klein Funeral Home-Champions in Spring, TX.

A visitation will also be held in Mississippi Friday, October 5 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in April’s memory, to either of her favorite charitable causes; the Houston 100 Club – the100club.org or the Houston SPCA – houstonspca.org FAMILY She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul Hepner of Cypress, TX.
