Archie Carter of Lynn Haven, Florida September 28, 1930 – May 27, 2019 Mr. Archie Carter, 88, of Lynn Haven, FL, went to his heavenly resting place on Monday, May 27, 2019. He is reunited with his bride and those who have gone before him. He was a well-known barber in Lynn Haven for 30 yrs.

He loved to go fishing every chance he could. If he wasn’t fishing, he was working in his garden. Most of all he loved his family and friends.

Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Annie Carter; wife Louise and three brothers, Buford Carter, J.B. Carter and Earnest Carter. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Royals and husband Charles; one son, Danny Carter; two granddaughters, Stephanie Adkins and husband Ricky, Christy Royals and companion, Daryl Baurley; one great-granddaughter, Anna Marie Adkins; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Southerland Event Center in Lynn Haven with Rev.

Donnie Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Southerland Event Center.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at St. Andrew Bay Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Emerald Coast Hospice for the love and care they provided during his stay.
