Arlene Virginia Wayts was 72 when she passed away December 28th. Known and loved by everyone as “Tata”, she lived most of her life in Midland Park before settling in Ridgewood over 45 years ago. Tata worked as a nurse at the Bergen County Health Care Center in Rockleigh for many years before retiring.

She was the loving mother of Kimberly and the late Joseph. Tata is the cherished grandmother of Heather Wayts and Erick Perez and the devoted great grandmother of Paul Joseph “PJ” Kos. She was predeceased by her late brother Richard Elsasser, her late brother Robert Elsasser, and her late sister Virginia Dixon.

She was also survived by her nieces; Karen, Crystal, Colleen, and Dawn as well as her nephew Robert along with many special friends including the Kos Family, the Farfalla family, Eric Turino, Cathy Carlton, and Barbara Masten. Visiting hours will be held Thursday 4pm-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.
