Arlie Ray Range, age 72, of Walnut Shade, MO passed away at home on the 11th of February due to complications from cancer. Arlie’s life’s focus was caring for his family through hard work. He held positions as a pole-man running electric lines, a sewer line worker, and a Steward at French’s in Springfield.

He was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a saw mill and a Pet shop over the years. Arlie was an avid marksman and hunter who spent his free time working on and hunting the 120 acres he owned north of Branson. To his pride, he taught all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to shoot and to hunt well.

His love of the outdoors is a lasting legacy. He was an excellent carpenter and hand-carved many wooden dolls, as well as designing and building many useful objects. Arlie was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord and with God’s help used his hands to build a good life for his family.

He was loved and will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. Arlie is survived by three daughters and one son and their spouses; Lisa and Dante Ramirez of Walnut Shade, MO, Sherry and Chris Miller of Branson, MO, Nina and Ronnie Oosahwe of Walnut Shade, MO, Scot and Carrie Range of Lawson, MO; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, and one sister, plus many other family member and wonderful friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Velma Range, his wife, Earlene Range, and a daughter, Lola Ward.

A visitation is scheduled from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge, MO.
