May, age 89 of Jonesboro passed away May 16, 2019. Mrs. May was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro, and was a member of the Penney Loafers Group. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Regina Carol Babb.

Surviving are her husband: Stancil May, sons: Stephen Michael May and wife Laurel of Northfield, MN. , Jay Anthony May of Dallas, GA. , Stancil Leroy May, III and wife Kim of Kansas City , KS and Geoffrey W. May and wife Heather of McDonough, sister-in-law: Clara Jay of Bay Springs, MS, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church Jonesboro with Rev. Dr. Olive Mahabir officiating. Mrs. May will be transported to Hickory, MS.

for interment at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 A.M. – 11 A.M. Saturday at the church.
