OBITUARY Arnold “Arnie” Milburn Harmon March 22, 1945 – October 10, 2018 Arnold “Arnie” Milburn Harmon, 73, of West Brook Drive, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018, on his farm as the result of an accident. Mr. Harmon was a member of Hardin’s Chapel United Methodist Church and attended O&S Chapel and People’s Tabernacle. He built Victory Church of God and was in Hardin’s Chapel Ruritan for several years.
He remodeled several churches. He was a skilled carpenter that did a lot of work in Greeneville and Greene County. Survivors include his wife: Alice Harmon; daughters and sons-in-law: Tina and Mike Jones, Charlene Malone, Donna Guida, Thelma and Tony Arwood, Karen Reed; sons and daughters-in-law: James and Kenya Harmon, Jerry and Sandra Riley, and David and Debbie Tweed; son-in-law: Mike Hoard; grandchildren and spouses: Cody and Laureen Ottinger, Kevin Jones and girlfriend, Hannah English, Katesha Harmon, Justin Harmon, Nicholas Harmon, Natausha Harmon, Candle Harmon, Benjamin Harmon, Tabatha and Steven Franklin, Michael and Tracy Hoard, Makayla Hoard and boyfriend, Travis Cobble, Terry Hoard, Megan Hoard, Tashina Hoard, Angela Riley, Jerri and Michael Ausborn, Megan Johnson, Kayla Wilkerson, Ashley and Jordan Davis, Matthew and Angie Malone, Elliott Malone and fiancée Bianca, Ethan Malone, Michael and Hannah Reed, Robert Reed, and Logan Tweed and fiancée Tyanna; great grandchildren: Lily Brake, Levi Treadway, Jayse Ausborn, Noah Wilkerson, Peyton Wilkerson, Greyson Cameron, Sawyer Davis, and Spencer Reed; step granddaughter: Rochelle Malone; step great granddaughter: Briley Alley; siblings and spouses: Geraldine and Wayne Shanks, Marie Cox, David and Mary Ruth Harmon, Don and Janet Harmon, Debbie Cheek, Rhonda Harmon; half-brothers and half-sisters: Eleanor Paunovich, Isaac Harmon, Joan Billings, Barbara Hart, and Nancy Tate; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends; special uncle: Doyle Briggs; and special friends: employees of Greeneville Light and Power and Greeneville Builders.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Peggy Harmon; parents: Taylor and Vivian Briggs Harmon; daughter: Teresa Hoard; infant daughter: Tammy Harmon; brother: Terry Harmon; and sister: Becky Stapleton. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
Wade McAmis and Rev. David Tweed officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
