OBITUARY Betty B. Casteel Brown January 2, 1928 – November 22, 2018 Betty B. Casteel Brown, 90, passed away, Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Bertha Ann Casteel and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brown; son, Carroll Brown; sisters: Madge Casteel, Louise Jones, Nell Brown, Jalay Harmon, Martyne Bowlin; and brothers: W.D. Casteel, Ted Casteel, Jerry Casteel.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews, including a special niece, Kathy Russell. The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev.

Jamie Lively and Rev. Abbey Keller officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
