OBITUARY Emedine C. Colyer November 28, 1924 – November 9, 2018 Emedine C. Colyer, 93, passed away November 9, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was retired from Greene’s Mfg. And Plus Mark.

She was a wonderful mother and loved unconditionally. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of Love’s Memorial United Methodist Church and attended Pine Gove United Methodist, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s organization and the Kathleen Hutton Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Marilyn Neece and Gwen and David Rader; one son and daughter-in-law: Roger and Ellen Colyer; grandchildren and their spouses: Chrissy and Henry Gaby, Aaron and Angie Colyer, Spencer and Lindsay Rader; her special great grandchildren: Cambell Gaby, Isaac Gaby, Cole Colyer, Liam Rader, and Reid Colyer; one sister, who was also her best friend: Faye Colyer; one brother and sister-in-law: JT and Ina Ruth Clowers; several nieces and nephews, including: Ronnie and June Colyer; and her special friends: Dr. Robert Mosca, Lucille Renner, Nancy Jamerson, Wayne Hopson, and the residents and staff at Brookdale Senior Living. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gail Colyer in 2007; her parents: Rev. C.D. and Betty Smith Clowers; two sisters: Vola Hawk and Theressa Inscore; three brothers: Estel, Melvin, and Homer Clowers; and one son-in-law: Ron Neece.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fain and Rev.

Ricky Clowers officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Colyer, Spencer Rader, Henry Gaby, Isaac Gaby, Ronnie Colyer, David Rader, Wayne Hopson, and Don Kirk.

Honorary pallbearers are Rev. John Manney, Rev. Sam Smith, Rev.

Dan Palmer, members of the Kathleen Hutton Sunday School Class, and members of the UMW.
