OBITUARY Arnoldo Garza November 8, 1936 – November 22, 2018 Arnoldo Garza passed on to be with our Lord on November 22, 2018 in Round Rock, Texas. Arnold was born on November 8, 1936 to Alfredo and Dorotea (Perez) Garza in Falfurrias, Texas. He later moved to Kingsville where he graduated from HM King High School and Texas A&I University with a degree in Business Administration in 1961.

Arnold was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1963. He began his civilian career at Naval Air Station- Corpus Christi in 1961 where he stayed until his retirement in 1993. Arnold was a quiet, gentle, and loving soul.

He was an example to his children and grandchildren of how to be kind and family focused. He lived his Catholic faith through his examples. He enjoyed doing many things from working around the house to cheering for his favorite football and baseball teams.

He loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Rangers. He especially had fun when he was traveling with his wife, Anita, whether it was a trip to Corpus Christi, Dallas, or on one of his all-time favorite cruises. He loved seeing the sites in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, or Alaska with his beloved wife.

He is preceded in death by his son – Dennis, parents, brothers-Roberto and Alfredo, Jr He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita, his sons – Arnold (Tonie) from Irving and James from Round Rock, daughter-in-law – Rita from Round Rock, brothers Baldemar (Lidia) from Bryan, Juan (Elda) from San Antonio, grandchildren – Gabriella, Daniella, Adrianna, Cecilia, Angelica and Jonathan, great grandchildren – Matteo, Elías, Adrian, Catherine and Emilio and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing and visitation will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35 in Pflugerville, Texas on November 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a service immediately to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to St. William Catholic Church (Round Rock) or your local Alzheimer’s Foundation.

FAMILY Arnoldo is preceded in death by his son – Dennis, parents, brothers-Roberto and Alfredo, Jr He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita, his sons – Arnold (Tonie) from Irving and James from Round Rock, daughter-in-law – Rita from Round Rock, brothers Baldemar (Lidia) from Bryan, Juan (Elda) from San Antonio, grandchildren – Gabriella, Daniella, Adrianna, Cecilia, Angelica and Jonathan, great grandchildren – Matteo, Elías, Adrian, Catherine and Emilio and numerous nieces and nephews.
