Arthur (Art) Okun passed away October 3, 2018 at the age of 85 in Naples, Florida. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia Okun. Art was born April 9, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, son of Samuel and Jennie Okun, and brother of Sylvia and Michael.

He is survived by his sons Michael of Naples, FL, Steven of Newbury Park, CA, and William of Mineola, NY, and five grandchildren Amanda, Kelly, Ben, Kevin, and Zach. He had a wonderful career that included management roles within organizations such as Yale University, Facilities Re Management, and Aramark.

He was known to be a caring mentor and role model to the many who worked with and for him. Art was lucky enough to marry his soul mate, Patricia, and his family was the center of his universe. He was also always quick with a smile, joke, and words of encouragement for those who needed them most.
