Arthur W. Berkheimer Jr. of Lisbon, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:15 p.m. in his residence. He was 78. Arthur was born on November 18, 1939 in Wellsville, OH, the son of the late Arthur W. Sr. and June Byers Berkheimer.

Mr. Berkheimer was employed at Buckeye Industrial Mining Co. in the Coal Washing Plant for many years. Earlier in life, he enjoyed working on cars and being in the outdoors hunting. His wife, Mary Gilbert Berkheimer, whom he married October 1, 1960, passed away on October 10, 2016.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Melody (John) Alflen of Leetonia and Tammy Kalbfell of Lisbon; a son John Berkheimer of Lisbon; 6 sisters and 4 brothers; 7 grandchildren, Dylan, Dustin, Cassandra, Maria, Christopher, Shelly, and Daniel; 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Arthur was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Berkheimer, a great granddaughter, Brandy, Kalbfell; 3 sisters; and twin siblings that passed at birth.
