Arvilla Rose Miller, age 94, of Clare, passed away on Friday, March 29, at Northwood’s Nursing Home in Farwell. Arvilla was born the daughter of Loren and Irene (Sawyer) Tousignaut on Sept. 4, 1924, near Evart, Michigan.

She married Clarence Miller on July 18, 1942 and he passed away on January 26, 1981. After Clarence’s death Arvilla moved to Clare from Evart to be closer to her children. She was very fond of wearing sweatshirts over a turtleneck, the more embroidered or beaded, the better she liked it.

In her younger years, she had loved to crochet. She particularly enjoyed making Baby Clothes. Arvilla is survived by her sons, Bruce Miller of Otsego, Mi.

and Gary Miller of Lake, several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Rick in 2011, and her sister, Ova Brown.
