Astor Elmer Brown, Jr., 74, of Deane passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. Astor was the son of the late Astor and Maurine Wright Brown. He was the widow of Phyllis Sturgill Brown.

Surviving is 2 sons: Elmer (Melissa Mullins) Brown of Jenkins and David (Sonia) Brown of Alabama; 1 daughter: Rebecca (Mark) Jent of Deane; 5 grandchildren: Eric, Jaede, Sidnie, Adeline, and Mark II. Astor was preceded in death by 1 brother; Lester Brown. Funeral: 12:00 O’clock Noon Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Derek McCall officiating.

. Visitation: 9:00 A.M. at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
