Aubrey “Abner” Ray Webb, 72, of Chesapeake, OH passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert “Toad” and Alma Webb; one brother, Richard Webb. Ray retired from the Herald Dispatch and was an Air Force Veteran.

He leaves behind his wife of fifty years, Linda Riley Webb; two sons, Paul Eric Webb of Chesapeake, OH and Michael (Rachelle) Webb of Wheelersburg, OH; two daughters, Misha (Alvin) Johnson of Bidwell, OH and Tracy (Bob) Carpenter of Independence, KY; twelve grandchildren, Michaela, Connor, Tyler, Jacob, Ashtyn, Chase, Garrett, Alvin III, Ali, Carley, Spencer and one “on the way”, Finley Ray; two sisters, Patty Webb of Ironton, OH and Jenny (Jerry) Pendleton of Kitts Hill, OH; two brothers, Sidney (Sadie) Webb of Chesapeake, OH and Bill (Brenda) Webb of South Point, OH; two nephews, L.J. Moore and J.R. Webb; one niece, Sherri Webb. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tracy Call at 1pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH.

Proctorville VFW Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
