Audwin’s Obituary Audwin “Gene” Dalton, 87, of Danville passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019. He was born November 14, 1931 in Coal City, IN the son of Clyde and Zepha (Nixon) Dalton. Gene was a hard worker who retired from Chrysler after 33 years of service as a machine operator.

In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan who reveled in watching I.U. basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. Gene was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris, in 2015 and his son, Randall, in 1973.

He is survived by his son Ricky Dalton of Danville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1pm at the Conkle Funeral Home, Avon chapel. Friends may visit from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Westridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
