Aurea’s Obituary Aurea Maria DeJesus, age 79 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Aurea was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Esteban and Josefa (Lopez) DeJesus and was a resident of Vineland for the past 25 years. Aurea truly loved attending church and was a member of Prima Iglesia Alpha and Omega Church of Millville.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and especially cherished the time she shared with them. She was predeceased by her husband Luis Roman, her son Francisco Santiago Jr., her daughter Maria Rivera and by 2 grandsons; Francisco Santiago III and Angel Pratts. Aurea is survived by her 7 loving children; Gloria DeJesus, Obet DeJesus (Grisel), Ernest DeJesus, Edith Pena (Victor), Robert Mass, Richard Mass and Norma Mass.

She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren, along by her 2 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24th at 10:30 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave.

Vineland, with Rev. Jose Almanza officiating. Interment will follow in Morgan Cemetery, Cinnaminson, NJ.

Family and friends may gather from 9:00-10:30 at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared with the family at wbfuneralhome.com Arrangements are in the care of Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, Vineland.
