Funeral services for Mrs. Avelene Schultz Haislip will be conducted Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 am in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Glover officiating. Interment will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends here at Williams Funeral Home from 10 am until the service hour. Mrs. Dolly Avelene Schultz Haislip, age 90 passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019. Mrs. Haislip was the widow of the late Earnest Lawrence Haislip and was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Bessie Mae Dunham Schultz and her son Ernie Haislip.

Mrs. Haislip was a native of Leon, WV. Mr. & Mrs. Haislip lived over the world as he was retired from the Military, They had made their home in Louisville Ga for 19 years before moving to Milledgeville in 1979. She had worked at McGaw Laboratories.

Mrs. Haislip was a Volunteer with the Pink Ladies at Oconee Regional Medical Center for many years and served as a Volunteer at Georgia War Veterans Home and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Herrington of Americus ; grandchildren, Miranda (Angel) Nunez of Perry, GA, Monica Hyatt of Winter Park, Fl, Rob Herrington of Martinez and Serena Haislip of Lodi, CA; great grandchildren, Logan Nick, Isabella, Sam, Jack and Dillon.
