Funeral service for AW1 Dale Wilson Davis (Ret), age 89 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.

Dale passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville. He was born on June 23, 1929 in Nashville, TN to Walter and Elizabeth Meadows Davis. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Dale retired from the United States Navy and Trane Company. He was an avid bowler, loved fishing, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sons: Kenneth Dale Davis and Richard Lee Davis; and sister, Dollie Barker.

Dale is survived by his wife of 70 years, Irene Pierce Davis; sister, Marie Rowland; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Avalon Hospice. Please visit Dale’s guestbook at www.
