BARBARA A. SCHWABLE, age 80 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 9:30 PM at Wilson Health. She was born on September 27, 1937 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl (Cox) Creekbaum. On January 5, 1980 she married Joseph B. Schwable who preceded her in death on June 23, 1997.

She is survived by special family, Barbara Watkins, Kim (Tony) Strunk, and Karen Garrett all of Sidney, special granddaughter, Morgan Allen, and the 7-11 Girls in Piqua. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Garry L. Osborne, and special daughter, Betty Sue Reynolds. Mrs. Schwable retired after 26 1/2 years from Copperweld (formerly Miami Industries) in Piqua.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney since 1971. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Pastor Chad Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to Wilson Hospice and First Church of the Nazarene in memory of Barbara A. Schwable. Condolences may be expressed to the Schwable family at the funeral home’s website, www.
