WILBUR “DELL” UDELL LORTON II, 60, of Jackson Center passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:50 AM at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born on August 29, 1958 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Wilbur and Shirley (Jones) Lorton Sr. Wilbur is survived by his wife, the former Terri Flatter. He is survived by one step-son, Justin Subler of Jackson Center; three siblings, Keith (Shellie) Lorton of Summerset, KY, Estella (Ken Elliott) Ping of Sidney and Jeffery Lorton of Sidney and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilbur was employed by Ross Aluminum Castings as a Laborer for many years. He also worked at Edward Machine Shop in Newport. Wilbur loved to race cars and go to the dirt track.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and sitting outside watching the thunderstorms roll in. Wilbur especially loved to spend time with Terri, family and his special nephew Talan Brooks. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Tuesday September 11, 2018 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney.
