Barbara Allen Womble, 77, of Tallahassee, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019. A daughter of the late Allen Floyd and Irene Cooper Womble, she was born in Cairo, Georgia on May 23, 1941. She retired from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, loved to collect memorabilia and loved learning about history.

Survivors include a son, James Wall; sister, Dorothy Pollock; brothers, Floyd Womble and Charles Womble; as well as several nieces and nephews. The funeral is 2:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2019, at Abbey Funeral Home, with visitation an hour prior to the funeral. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
