Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Angster Baker Wyatt died on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. She was 89 years old. Born in Rahway, a lifelong resident of Woodbridge, she was a descendant of William Williams of Connecticut, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Mrs. Wyatt was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, class of 1946; she earned her B.S. In Home Economics from Syracuse University and her Master’s in Education from Rutgers University. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge for 72 years. Barbara was a very active civic leader in Woodbridge, serving on The Woodbridge Township Board of Education from 1968-1971, as a Commissioner for The Woodbridge Township Housing Authority from 1981-1985, on The Woodbridge Township Library Board for 27 years serving under four mayors, was a founding member of The Woodbridge River Watch, a member of The Historical Association of Woodbridge Township, a poll clerk for the Middle County Board of Elections from 1965 until 2009, former member of the Woodbridge Township Parent-Teacher Presidents Council, and former member of The Woodbridge Township Historical Commission, as well as the Scholarship Committee and the Middle County Traffic Safety Council.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years George Bryan Wyatt; a son Robert B. Wyatt; her sister Amy Baker; and her parents Irving George Baker and Caroline Bouker Baker Surviving a daughter, Margaret Wyatt-Willoughby and her husband, Tom; two granddaughters, Christine Caldwell and her husband Jay and Susan King; two grandsons, Lucas and Peter Willoughby, two great granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Abigail Caldwell. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge. Interment will be in Middletown Town Cemetery, Middletown, RI.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www. costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ.
