Robert’s Obituary Robert Gunc passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was 84 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Garwood and the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township.

Mr. Gunc was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic / Boiler Operator with ECO Labs in Avenel for 25 years before retiring in 1998 and was a veteran of United States Army. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Gunc; and sister, Alberta Royal. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Jill Christian Gunc; children, KellyGrant of Perth Amboy, Tracy Mesa and her husband, Eddy, of Red Bank and Frank Boyle and his wife, Valerie, of Sewaren; and his beloved grandchildren, Megan Boyle, Julian Mesa and Matthew Boyle.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch (rmh-cnj.org), 131 Bath Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 in Robert’s memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
