Obituary for Barbara Ann Gumbman (Friedmann) Barbara Ann Gumbman (nee Friedmann), 58, of Carlstadt for 27 years and formerly of Norwood, passed away at home on January 20, 2019. For the last 27 years, she was a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Unit at Hackensack University Medical Center. Barbara’s two favorite things were her family and nursing.

She was always helping those in need. She was an avid reader. Barbara served on the Carlstadt Board of Health for seven years and was President for five years.

Beloved wife of Robert Gumbman. Loving mother of Meghan A. Gumbman and Lauren E. Gumbman. Devoted daughter of Ann Stuart and the late William J. Friedmann.

Caring sister of Diane J. Friedmann and William J. Friedmann, Jr. Visitation Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt from 2-6 PM with a Funeral Service at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
