Naugatuck-Barbara Ann (Kowalski) Wichlinski age 54, beloved wife of Grzegorz Wichlinski, passed away surrounded by her closest family on Wednesday December 26, 2018. She was born on March 4, 1964 in Waterbury, CT daughter of the late Alfons and Irena (Lazarski) Kowalski. She was a graduate of Post College and was a longtime Naugatuck resident.

Barbara worked at Gem Manufacturing for more than 30 years up until her illness. She was a longtime communicant of St. Hedwig Church. She loved her family whole heartedly and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Besides her loving husband, she leaves her son, Krzysztof Wichlinski of Naugatuck; her daughter, Tania Andrukewicz and her husband Kamil of Southington; Her sister Krystyna Lepczynski of Prospect; her god daughter Mary Mroczek and her husband and children; brother in law Marek Wichlinski and his wife and son; and many other relatives in Poland. Her funeral will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, to St. Hedwig Church, 32 Golden Hill Street, Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
