Mrs. Barbara Ann Singleton, age 80 of Centre, passed away in her home on Friday, May 10th. Funeral services will be held 3:PM Tuesday, May 14th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sand Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 13th, from 6:PM until 8:PM. Paul Bearers include John Chesnut, David Chesnut, Brandon Gladden, Jeff Lowe, and Bart Lowe. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Melisa Singleton; brother, James Wade Chesnut; sister, Lucy Emmalene Allen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Ray Singleton; son, Randy Ray Singleton; brothers, Elvin Ronald Chesnut and Grady Hayworth Chesnut; sister, Trisha Rose Allen. Mrs. Singleton was a native of Cherokee County. She was the daughter of the late Elvin Chesnut and Lessie (Holman) Chesnut.
