Barbara Ann (Wagner) Reisbig, age 78, died peacefully on Saturday, December 22nd, at her family’s home in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Born in Jackson County, MI, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Tase) Wagner. Barbara had an extensive career in sales and management.

She was a long-time member of the Galaxy Community Council. She was also a member of Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Wilbraham, then St. Barnabas Memorial Church in Falmouth and most recently at Christ Church Cathedral in Springfield where she was a member of the Executive Committee, a tutor for the ACTS program and an active member of the Ushers. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Bert Scannapieco and her two sisters: Patricia Powers and Wanda Sawyer.

She will be sadly missed by her two children: Eric Reisbig and his wife Tracy of Wilbraham; and Dawn Reisbig and her fiancé Steve Moore of Falmouth; her brother Paul Swaenepoel of Brooklyn, MI; her three grandchildren: Chase and Courtney Reisbig and Taylor Scannapieco as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may meet for Barbara’s Funeral on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, 35 Chestnut St., Springfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd.
