Alvord ~ Barbara Klein, 78, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Alvord, Texas. Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Barbara was born February 22, 1940 to Johnny and Barbara (Mosley) Barclay in Decatur, Texas. She married David Klein on October 12, 1957 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They were married 60 years till his passing in August of 2018.

Barbara retired after 40 years as a secretary for the City of Alvord. Those left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Klein and wife Tammie of Alvord; her grandchildren, Paige, Jacob, and Ransom Klein; mother, Bobbie Barclay of Alvord; sister, Cissy Barclay of Alvord; brother, Larry Barclay of Forestburg; numerous extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
