OBITUARY Barbara M. DeChiaro July 9, 1941 – November 29, 2018 Barbara M. DeChiaro passed away on November 29, 2018. She was a New City resident since 1973 and prior E. Northport, LI. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. Augustine’s Church. Barbara is survived by her daughters Lori Hann and husband Al of New City, and Lisa DeChiaro of Pomona, NY. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren Amanda, Allison and Karisa.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Nicholas September 19, 2008, son Frank in 1977, brother Robert Henn and sister Eileen Fasano. Family will receive friends on Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm At Higgins Funeral Home New City, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday 10 AM St. Augustine’s Church New City, NY.

Interment to follow at St. Charles’s Cemetery Farmingdale, NY.
