Barbara Diane Covney age 73 died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Sparrow hospital. She was born in Detroit to Evelyn and John Gardella. At the age of 6 she was adopted by her step-father, Michael Czarney.

The oldest of four children. She leaves behind two children, Sherry Dunder and John Spilak. Barbara was a loving mother and leaves behind a lifetime of people that loved her dearly.

She had an amazing ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable and for the true friendship she gave to each. Her lasting memory in so many minds will be her stories and her gentle sweet way of making long lasting friends every where she went.
