Barbara Gail Shea, age 74, of Big Sandy, Tennessee passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. She was an elder of New Beginning Ministries Church in Big Sandy, Tennessee.

Mrs. Shea loved the Lord, her family, and her church. Barbara was born June 25, 1944 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Carl C. & Beulah C. Hughes. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Shea of Big Sandy, Tennessee; daughter, Donna (Jeff) Sparks of Rogersville, Alabama; son, Todd (Chrissy) Shea of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Roger Hughes of Indianapolis, Indiana & JC Hughes of Oceanside, California; and three grandchildren, Will (Jackee) Shea, Jared Sparks, & Cody Shea.
